Normal Working Hours
Normal working hours for the Public Information Office are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to contact the Public Information Office can do so by dialing (352) 367-4050, and our secretary will connect you to Lt. Stephen Maynard, who can be reached at (352) 367-4041. Lt. Maynard can be paged 24-hours a day by the Communications Operations Bureau. The CCC can be reached by dialing (352) 955-1818.
After Hours or Emergency Contact
Anyone needing information after 5:30 p.m., on a weekend, or during an observed holiday can call the shift commander at (352) 955-1818. This number will connect you to our Communications Operations Bureau. Please ask the communications operator to have the shift commander return your call.
With breaking news stories, a PIO will be notified by the shift commander and will be asked to handle all media requests. Please do not contact the shift commander with requests during these incidents, rather contact the Communications Operations Bureau at (352) 955-1818 and have the on-duty PIO return your call.
