Normal Working Hours
Normal working hours for the Public Information Office are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to contact the Public Information Office can do so by dialing (352) 367-4050, and our secretary will connect you to Lt. Stephen Maynard, who can be reached at (352) 367-4041. Lt. Maynard can be paged 24-hours a day by the Communications Operations Bureau. The CCC can be reached by dialing (352) 955-1818.
After Hours or Emergency Contact
Anyone needing information after 5:30 p.m., on a weekend, or during an observed holiday can call the communications shift supervisor at (352) 955-1818. This number will connect you to our Communications Operations Bureau. Please ask the communications operator to have the shift supervisor or communications commander return your call.
With breaking news stories, a PIO will be notified by the commander and will be asked to handle all media requests. During these type incidents, contact the Communications Operations Bureau at (352) 955-1818 and have the on-duty PIO return your call.
