The aim of the Explorer Post is to explore law enforcement as a possible career choice, develop leadership skills, and to provide service to the community.
Safety Patrol Annual DC Field Trip
The Safety Patrol takes a field trip to Washington DC every year. Here's some info and a photo gallery of their trip.
Operation Blue Bird
Operation Blue Bird is a public awareness program designed to remind the motoring public to not pass a school bus while it is loading or unloading.
Operation Spring Break
ASO deputies work in cooperation with the St. John's County Sheriff Office to help keep spring break safe for Alachua County teens in St. John's County during the yearly holiday.
SHOCAP
Serious Habitual Offender Comprehensive Action Program (SHOCAP), is designed to help monitor juveniles in Alachua County that have been charged and convicted of any law violations that meet the program criteria.
Teen Court
At-risk youthes in the Alachua County court system can participate in this program to get a second chance at a conviction-free record.
