Teen Court

Teen Court is a diversion program for juvenile offenders. This service is provided by the Alachua County Sheriff's Office. Teen Court offers juveniles throughout Alachua County an opportunity to earn an important second chance while teaching them the value of personal integrity and responsibility to their community.

Teen Court is always looking for great volunteers! We need middle school and high school volunteers every Tuesday evening to serve as jurors, attorneys, or clerks during Teen Court. Below please find the link to an information sheet explaining a bit more about Teen Court with an attached volunteer emergency contact form. Also, please see the links below to our current Teen Court calendars to verify the dates Teen Court is in session. If you are interested in attending, please arrive at the Criminal Courthouse in Gainesville at 220 S. Main Street any Tuesday evening at 4:30pm. We typically conclude between 6:30pm- 7pm. Also, feel free to call or email Teen Court staff with any further questions.
